Scale and Position not working - Premiere Pro

I cant get the Scale and position to assign. Every other function seems to work and also, the dials are turning in the creator app, but it wont actually change it in Premiere. Any clues? I'm on the 2022 recent version (Jan 2022)

  Also, the connector icon is orange, not green in the app. Says its not connected properly, despite most of the functions working. Have tries reinstalling all programs involved.

  I would try uninstalling and re-installing the creator app/plugin. I suggest manually uninstalling the plugin. If you are on windows it would be here:

  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\MonogramExtension

  Mac:

  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions

  If the issue still persists after re-installing the creator app, try re-installing the firmware. If that fails, check that premiere sees the monogram as a control surface. Try a different usb port as a last ditch effort.
