Can palette control audition in the background ?
AnsweredHello !
I'm using palette for controlling Adobe audition, everything is working perfeclty.
But i'm currently using dual monitors. On the first one, MS Word, on the second one, AD Audition. I need to type on word the voice hear on audition. However, the voice is going fast, so I need to press play and pause once in a while.
I've then set my button to Play/Stop, and switched off "auto change the profile".
But when I "leave" audition to type on MS word, pressing the button will add a Space to my document (but the knob right next to it will change the position of the playhead !).
So : how can I control Audition while it is in the background with palette ?
Thank you !

Great question. The Play/Stop function emulates the spacebar key, which I believe is why this is happening. Most functionality in Audition uses a native integration rather than hotkeys, which is why this is an anomaly compared to the other functions.
Try assigning Transport > Toggle Playback to the button. This uses the native integration to toggle playback. It should work better when MS Word is focused.
