After Effects integration - more options
CompletedCan we control more parameters in After Effects? Specifically I'm looking to control a variable, whichever parameter I currently have selected in After Effects, this could be a slider that controls another parameter or expression, and I want to control it using my Monogram hardware fader. What kind or further integrations can we expect from Monogram?

You can use a Monogram dial (not a fader as far as I can tell, but I'm still on old hardware, so this may have changed) to control any selected property in AE. So, say, you have a slider control on your layer. Simply select it, and then turn your dial to make adjustments. In the Dial settings, just go to After Effects Mode, and chose "Adjust Selected Properties." Again, I'm on old hardware/software, but I assume this is still the same in the more recent iterations.

Hey all, quick update:
This feature was initially removed from Creator while we resolved some bugs. Specifically, the implementation in PaletteApp would adjust all axes simultaneously when pointed at the transform fields (ie position, rotation, orientation, etc) of a layer object, which was definitely sub-optimal.With your feedback, my colleague Chinemerem looked into a better implementation of the feature that doesn't cause problems with the transform controls and should work just as well as ever on the various plug-in and panel controls. He also implemented functions for coarse control and for cycling through multiple fields (ie turning a dial to go from Position X -> Position Y -> Position Z).
This will be shipping in the upcoming versions of Creator, expected in version 4.2.0 or slightly earlier.

I can now see the option for "adjust any property" in AE (Mac), however it does not do anything in AE when I assign it to my monogram console. I am able to get other controls working (eg scale a layer using the same hardware controller). It seems like this feature might not be working properly.
