Lightroom - Dial +/- range for HDR DNG
CompletedHi guys - happely using the new MonogramCC gear. Unfortunately I just mentioned, that the +/- range for the exposure (dial) is +/- 5. HDR-DNG files, like images from the Ricoh Theta Z1 camera come with a exposure range of +/- 10.
Would be nice to add the extended range to the dials and faders.

Hi Cornelius, thanks for the feedback!
Do you find it's necessary to exceed ±5 stops adjustment regularly when editing these files? And would you be willing to send an example HDR DNG to us (via support@monogramcc.com) so that we can test this with LrC?
Thanks!

Hi Andy - yes it's absolutely necessary. Files from the Ricoh Theta Z1 needs to be pushed to +6-7 all the time. For theses files, Monogram is currently not usable.
Going to send you a file. Would be nice to enlarge the exposure range for HDR files.
PS: Also HDR files, stacked by Lightroom are using the +/- 10 stops range for exposure in the meantime. Depending on the bracketing heavy + pushes are needed.

Hi Cornelius! Wanted to let you know that Creator Alpha has been updated with ±10 stop support for HDR-DNG files.
Dials and Orbiters should just work after the software update.
Sliders may require you to go to open the Slider Settings window, choose "Customize" from the left-hand side, and then adjust the slider range to ±10 stops. After this point it should work as expected with both ±5 stop standard files as well as ±10 stop HDR-DNG files.
Finally, there's no need to install Creator Alpha if you'd rather stay on the stable release—this feature will be coming to the stable release shortly (2-4 weeks).
