Likely Photoshop isn't recognizing the Palette Extension; we see this happen sometimes following a Photoshop update, especially if PaletteApp is running during the update. Assuming this is the case, it's a pretty simple fix—I'll share the steps below.

    1. Reboot your computer.  I know it's a tech support cliche. Just bear with me and try it please :)

    2. Ensure all Adobe CC apps are closed.

    3. Open PaletteApp, then select your profile for Photoshop CC.

    4. Select the plug icon from the bottom right.

    5. Select "Re-Install Adobe Extension" from the troubleshooting list.

    6. Re-open your Adobe CC apps. Wait up to 20 seconds for a connection to be established; the bottom right corner of each profile should now display a green plug icon to signify successful connection.

There's a 50% chance it'll work after the initial reboot, and almost certain that it'll work following the steps above. If it doesn't for any reason, please keep us updated here or email support@monogramcc.com.

Can't get to step 5 :( Plug icon just says it's ready to control Ps and that's it. Left/Right click does nothing

You're seeing the "Ready to control Photoshop" message because Photoshop is still running.

Try repeating steps 2-6, but make sure that Photoshop and all other Adobe CC apps are closed. Once they're closed, the plug icon will turn yellow or grey, and will allow you to click on it in step 5.

Because this was a bit awkward to explain over text, I made a screen recording of this process for you: https://share.vidyard.com/watch/oZWeRzp1stsH9nXKuhDi1P?

If you run into further problems, can you try doing the same so that we may see what's going wrong? I use Vidyard's GoVideo product for screen capture as it creates a shareable link and uploads automatically, but any similar service works.

Had to restart Palette App itself. Only then plug icon turned grey. Then reinstalled extension and brush controls work again. Thanks :)
