Immediately! We added support in the last update, including the new HDR sliders.

If things aren't working presently, make sure that you're on the latest PaletteApp update (2.6.4) and that you're using the Capture One 11+ profile type.

I'm using 2.6.4 but is says that Capture One isn't running (but it is). I'm using the Capture One 11+ profile types.

Ah, never mind. Rebooting my system did the trick. It works fine now!

I installed my Capture One 20 and I have reinstalled it and made sure palette is up to date. Mine recognizes my C1 as Lightroom and I don't have any functionality. Thoughts?

Hey Joey, just to check my understanding: you have C1 20 open and running, however, Palette isn't switching to a corresponding C1 profile, correct?

Assuming this is the case, I have a few troubleshooting suggestions:

    1. Create a new Capture One profile, making sure to use the "Capture One 11+" profile type. You'll know you've selected the correct type if it auto-loads a profile called "Basic Edit" or "Tethering"

    2. Make sure that automatic profile switching is on. If this is off, Palette won't follow along as you switch between apps. In the menu bar, go to PaletteApp > Preferences and enable "Automatic Profile Switching" and "Skip Profiles of Other Apps" (screenshot example below)

    3. Make sure that PaletteApp has accessibility access. Open System Preferences, then go to Security & Privacy > Privacy, and check both the Accessibility and Automation entries. Screenshot example below:

Yes, Capture One 20 is loaded, but palette doesn't recognize it. I have accessibility and automation setup correctly and it works with the previous version. Everything works fine with the old Capture One 12, but the problem is I migrated a lot of the libraries over already.

When I go to C1 20, palette doesn't automatically with the profile. If I click the profile by opening the palette app, I can get there, but then I'm finding I have limited functionality.

Clone Variant, Auto Adjust, and 'adjust any slider' don't work. It seems like anything in palette's capture one 11+ mode aren't recognized. It seems the only things that work are the keyboard shortcuts I put into it.

Hi Joey, happy to help get this sorted out.

RE: Not auto-switching profiles. It sounds like you have everything set up correctly; most likely a problem on our side. Let me see if I can isolate the issue and get a fix when I'm back in the office with our devs tomorrow.

RE: Adjust any Slider—Go to Capture One 20 > Preferences > General and enable "Scroll wheel changes slider value", this will get it working again.

RE: Clone Variant and Auto Adjust—as a sanity check, re-assign these buttons to F3 (hold Fn+F3 to assign this) and Cmd+L, respectively. Let me know either way if this works.

At this point, my suspicion is that—for whatever reason—the Capture One 20 executable isn't declaring itself the same way on your machine as PaletteApp is expecting and/or the Palette C1 11+ mode isn't detecting C1 20 as we expect it to.

If my suspicion is correct, we'll reproduce and patch the issue and fix it for anyone else who may be affected.

Thanks for checking into this Andy.

The auto-switching doesn't seem to want to switch. I've tried going to and from various programs that I used palette for. Once I go to the app and click C1, it will recognize it and skip profiles of other apps like it should.

    Adjust any slider works now!

Assigning the clone variant and auto adjust by their keyboard shortcuts works. It just seems that the 'capture one 11+ menu actions' aren't working. Not the end of the world, just a pain in the butt having to reassign the modules by their keyboard shortcut.

I tried to go back to menu actions and now I get the below error, even though I've given access.

Actually that makes sense; it could likely be the same issue that breaks both auto-switching AND the menu bar automation (and likely the same fix). I've already logged a bug report for our devs to check out.

I know it's a pain to re-assign everything to shortcuts. Only re-assign the buttons that you can't live without as a workaround, as I anticipate we can fix everything up pretty quickly.

    Hi Andy,

Having a similar problem with capture 20. I cannot load the application menu. I erased and reinstalled the palette app, reboot the Mac, checked the privacy setting ( accessibility: paletteApp 2, System Events, both are ticked) but still cannot load the menu.
    Any solution?

    Thanks

Hi Christophe, we have a fix pending that will be released shortly—it's been built and is in internal review right now. I'll update this thread as soon as it's available. Sorry again for the trouble, all!

PaletteApp Beta 2.6.501 has been released with a fix to ensure correct profile switching with Capture One 20.

I just installed and tested it myself, it works, but I have two notes to share RE: menu loading:

    1. It took upwards of 5 minutes for me to load the new menus.

    2. I had to re-enable System Events to get it working. This is found in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility

Let me know if there are any more issues encountered from your sides; we hope this will be solid to push to the Public Stable release shortly.
