    I'm guessing by the error message that you're on a Windows machine, correct?

    This is a system-level alert displayed in case of an unstable USB connection—this could be a problem with the Palette core, but is more often a problem with the connecting cable. Can you try the following?

    1. Try a second USB cable to connect your Palette kit
    2. Wiggle the USB cable where it connects to the Palette core. Please email directly (support@monogramcc.com) if you notice the core rapidly connecting/disconnecting
    3. Open Device Manager (Windows Search "devmgmt.msc") and look under Sound, Video, and Game controllers. Please email if you don't see an entry for "Palette Multi-Function Device".
