Hi Per, I had a look and I'm seeing that we have a function for Transform > Upright: Off in the LR Classic button options (screenshot below).

Is this not appearing for you, or does it not fit your needs?

Yes, I see the "upright: off" alternative. But this just turns off upright not resetting the parameters that has been copied from the previous image.

Ahh okay, I get where you're coming from.

You're wanting Lightroom to re-analyze the image using a given Upright mode rather than simply copy the upright mode adjustments from the last image or to disable upright mode.

Since Lightroom doesn't have an SDK function or hotkey for the Update/Re-Analyze Upright Adjustments, we just use a simple workaround that forces it to re-analyze the image.

    Here's what I'd do personally:

    1. Set up one button for a basic 2-step macro: Shift+Cmd/Ctrl+C (Copy Settings) and Enter/Return (Accept Settings).

    2. Set up another button for Paste Develop Settings (Shift+Cmd/Ctrl+V)

    3. Just once during setup: Press Shift+Cmd/Ctrl+C on your keyboard and then make sure that Transform > Upright Mode is selected and both Transform > Upright Transformations and Transform > Transform Adjustments are de-selected. See the screenshot below.

The end result? You press one button to copy all your settings with no pesky Copy Settings dialog coming up. You press the second button to paste these settings to your subsequent images.

Thank you, this would be a working workaround, wish I had more buttons :) I will give it a try to see if it feels good.

Having the reset-upright command available would be quicker for my workflow.

    Thank you.

Andy - How exactly do you set up a 2-step macro? I can't see anything in any options that allows me to chain a command. Is this a new feature set in Beta or is it using a 3rd party integration with a keyboard mode command to an obscure key combo?

Hi Mike, this would be using the Beta version which has macros; select a button and then choose Macro Mode from the left-hand side of the button settings window. If you'd rather not use the Beta, this feature is coming to the public stable pretty soon.
