It would be awesome to see reactivity in the Palette. This would make something that currently feels like an extension of a keyboard (albeit a very cool one) into something that feels like a control center.

Examples:
1) Mute would flash/blink a color of your choice to let you know it's muted
2) Pressing "play" would change to a different color of your choice until you pause once again (that's really useful for programs like premier, as sometimes the playhead can lag!)
3) A slider might change color based on it's setting (no practical example here, just a thought)

I'm not sure if this is possible, but I wanted to throw it out there as something that would be really, really cool - AND useful!

  This. My Main usage of Palette is with Qlab. I run sound and video in my theatre with qlab and use palette buttons and controls as a clear button for GO and the like. Having a change of state on a press would be super.

  Following up on this after way too long: our SDK now supports switching LED colors to indicate state (ie on/off, mute/unmute, etc). Forthcoming features/integrations should be able to take advantage of this; anything developed upon Creator 4.1 and later.

  Hi, I am trying to figure out how to use the SDK support you mention to switch LED colors to indicate state. I can't find any way to do that in Creator 4.1 or the Alpha 5.0 version. How do I actually do this? Thanks!
