Hi Hugo, that's strange that PaletteApp isn't detecting Virtual DJ.

Luckily, MIDI mode doesn't rely on the app detection; simply select MIDI as your profile type and you can assign MIDI, keyboard shortcuts, and OS events (system volume, mouse click/scroll, etc) to control Virtual DJ or any other application for that matter.

PS: What OS are you using? I'll have our team take a look into why it may not recognize VDJ8. I'm assuming it doesn't show up even after refreshing the app list?

Hi Andy, Correct. It doesn't show even after I refresh. I'm running Windows 10 v1803. I can try it on my mac too.

Okay, thanks for letting me know. I'll add this to our testing notes.

Are you able to successfully get Palette talking to Virtual DJ? First assign MIDI CC, Notes, and shortcuts in PaletteApp, then follow these instructions to link each MIDI message to an action.
