Spurious '0' data values for sliders in MIDI mode
AnsweredI have four sliders set up in MIDI mode (to control RME TotalMixFX for professional broadcast radio).
All of them generate occasional 0 DATA values (that is, the value that mirror's the slider's
position - channel and CC numbers are correct) anywhere in the slider's position as it's
moved up or down.
In MIDI Pipe it may look like this:
... 82, 83, 0, 88, 90...
That 0 in the middle shouldn't be there, and it makes TotalMixFX' fader jump to -infinity
before the next (correct) data value arrives, momentarily cutting off the signal.
The frequency of these events can at times be as often as every 3-4 up-to-down slider moves.
Please note again: All four sliders do this (and they haven't been used much), so it's not just a single faulty slider. I'm using latest version (2.4.12) of the PaletteApp and firmware 1.3.1.
This obviously doesn't work for me, so my question is: What is causing this, and how can it be fixed?
Best regards,
Christian Munk
