[Feature] Actual symbol instead of key press [PaletteApp]

I've just encountered a problem, which I can't figure out how to solve.

In an app I have a keyboard shortcut # - that's Shift + 3 on an English keyboard, but my keyboard layout is not English and Shif + 3 is Ę :)

Would be really nice to be able to send the right key stroke. Thought about macro, but there's no way to check which language is on, right?

  Actually, you're 100% on the right track with Macro mode. While our present keyboard mode can mis-interpret keyboard shortcuts from non-English keyboards, Macro mode doesn't suffer these same dependencies.
  
  In the short term? Use Macro Mode as a workaround. Long term? We'll be merging the two into one assignment mode that works as expected regardless of keyboard layout and language.

  Still doesn't work. Also tried Shift + 3. Even on English keyboard neither is working

  I've submitted this for testing. Very odd; it works as expected on MacOS but we will make sure to find any localization bugs on Windows.
