Case or Pouch for Palette Expert Kit

At the risk of being too obvious, why not use the box your kit came it? It's got custom foam cutouts that protect the pieces better than anything else probably could. I assume you wouldn't want to just shove your entire kit into a pouch, lest the pieces come apart and mark up the other ones. That aluminum coating shows marks pretty well.

I mean, if I had the choice, a custom case would be great, and definitely look a lot nicer than a box, but all things considered, the box isn't a bad solution.

Thank you very much! As far as it goes, I think that could be my only solution for now...until Palette Gear make a case or someone else.

Lucas, that's what we use here too—it was designed to safely transport + store your Palette Gear. We've talked about making a case, but have chosen to keep our small team's focus elsewhere for now.

Kyle, if you want a tougher case to transport your kit, check out the Nanuk, Pelican, or SKB cases with cubed foam.

The main thing to consider when choosing a case is to get one that allows you to separate the modules so you're not putting a strain on the pin-to-pad connection surfaces in transit.

For what it's worth, I use one of these for my tiny setup: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XM9QBAO I've been pretty happy with it, but I think I'm just one module shy of outgrowing it, so if I ever add more to my kit, I'll have to find another case.
