Quick update for everyone here:
This is now fixed in both the Public and Beta releases of PaletteApp as of today's 2.5.1 update.
Please update to take advantage of this fix. If problems persist, re-assigning the affected modules will fix any remaining issues.Comment actions -
Great question, thanks for raising this with us!
There ought to be proper international keyboard support in the next major version of PaletteApp. My apologies that you've had trouble mapping shortcuts from an AZERTY board.
In the meantime, our Beta already has a fix for international keyboard support in the Macro Mode. You can use this for both single keyboard shortcuts as well as longer macros, and both ought to work with your AZERTY keyboard.

Hi Alex,
We're actually trying to move away from dependency on keyboard shortcuts with Capture One altogether. Even if we don't achieve that goal, yes, the forthcoming changes to keyboard mode will remove the issue with QWERTZ and AZERTY keyboards—in short, all keyboards should work as expected without re-mapping.
PS: Because you can re-map keyboard shortcuts in Capture One, you can actually overcome this limitation right now. Simply re-map any affected C1 shortcuts using the keyboard shortcut menu, making sure that the new key you use is in the same position across both German QWERTZ and English-US QWERTY keyboards, then assign your new shortcut to a button or dial in PaletteApp.

Hey! Yes, its annoying with a keyboard in a different language :(
Im trying to find a solution for the zoom function in Lightroom with the german keyboard. I tried all the keys (it took a lot of time) but i couldnt find the (-), so i cann't zoom out with (⌘-).I installed the beta and yes its fixed in the macro mode. But the Macro Mode is not available for the dial modul. Do you have any ideas?
thx

It should be accessible when assigning a button in any profile. Try this:
- Open PaletteApp to your desired profile, and click on a button
- Navigate to the left-hand side of the Button Settings window
- Select Macro Mode
Here's a screenshot showing a button assigned to Macros inside an LR Classic profile:

This is fixed in today's PaletteApp Beta release, and it will be in the next Public update expected by mid-month.
Here's a link to download; the Beta installs separately from our Public version so you can try it risk-free.
