[Improvement]preference for the default color for controls [Improvement]

It would be nice, to have a preference, that determine the default color for unassigned controls. At the moment it is this bluish white, but i prefer black for unsigned controls.

  Definitely. Especially since the colour panel has been hidden behind another click, making it especially cumbersome to get to.
