Module Connectivity Issues

Recently I received delivery of a Core and Slider module. Only today have I tried to combine them in different manners, to find that most combinations do not work, preventing certain shapes from working, including the shape that fits on top of my keyboard.

By 'not working' I mean the Sliders' lights do not light, and the Creator app takes the Sliders off the screen.

In fact, there are very few ways the Slider and Core can be combined.

What should I do? The hardware is a couple of weeks old, used for an hour or so, but I waited five months for delivery (and was asked if I could a further season) and I don't want to have to return it.

I would post a video for illustration of the issue, but I don't see a means to do that here.

I had the same kind of "problem", I found this quite limiting in the possible ways modules coudl be associated as only one side is "working" . I understand it but It is not that obvious that only one side over the 4 could propagate the electricity when seeing the adds.. it is a bit frustrating then.
Which is a pity as appart of that these modules are great.
