Problem
In rare cases, the following error message may be displayed when using certain functions in the Effects panel of Premiere Pro (ie Position, Scale, Opacity).
"Monogram Error! Visit monogramcc.com/support and send us this information:
ReferenceError: Object is invalid
Line: 145
Stack: Undefined"
Resolution
- Please ensure that Premiere Pro has been updated to version 13.1 (2019) or later.
We recommend using version 14.1 (2020) or later for best performance. - Open Premiere Pro
- Press Ctrl+F12 (Windows) or Cmd+Fn+F12 (macOS)
- Select the hamburger menu at the top, next to "Console"; ensure that "Debug Database" is selected (see Fig. 1, below)
- Search NewWorld
- Select the checkboxes next to the values for AME.ScriptLayer.EnableNewWorld and ScriptLayerPPro.EnableNewWorld; ensure that both are set to "True" (see Fig. 2, below)
- Restart Premiere Pro
After toggling this preference, you should see that all Effects panel functions in Premiere Pro can be adjusted successfully using your Creative Console.
