Can I assign keyboard shortcuts to modules?
Yes. You can assign any keystroke and/or modifier to the key press on Monogram Core, Essential Key, and Dial modules.
You can also assign multiple keyboard shortcuts to a key press action by using macros. For example, you can chain Command+A and Command+C together with a normal key press.
Key press actions can also be separated by long press. For example, the macro Command+A and Command+V can be assigned to the long key press action of the same button.
You cannot use Monogram to launch external programs on a key press. However, third party software such as AutoHotKey may be used to detect a custom keyboard shortcut and run custom scripts.
Does Creative Console support MIDI?
Yes. Creative console works with any application that supports MIDI protocol, including most DAWs and virtual instruments. Supported MIDI features and modes include control change, channel pressure, program change, note assignment, and per-module channel assignment.
