Known Issues
- Profile support is actively being improved:
- Quick Start profiles are being added and refined with each release.
- As of Creator 4.0.035, Quick Start profiles exist for LrC, C1, PS, PR, AE, AU, AI, and ID only
- Profile migration from PaletteApp is supported as of 4.0.023 (Alpha and Beta)
- Profiles must be saved from PaletteApp (File > Save or Cmd/Ctrl+S) and loaded into Creator (File > Load Profile or Cmd/Ctrl+O)
- Some keyboard shortcut, MIDI, Joystick, and OS mode assignments will be missing or incomplete after migration to Creator. This will not overwrite the original profiles in PaletteApp.
- Not working? Send us feedback at support@monogramcc.com
- Quick Start profiles are being added and refined with each release.
- Some app migrations are incomplete, including:
- Final Cut Pro X
- Photo Mechanic
- Capture One for Windows
- Character Animator
- FL Studio
- These apps may still be used via MIDI and keyboard shortcut assignment, and profiles will become available following the stable launch of Creator.
- Unsure how to use keyboard shortcut or MIDI assignments? Please email support@monogramcc.com for help.
- Error messages concerning the Lightroom Classic plugin when installing or updating:
- The error message "Error during installation process: Failed to overwrite [...]/Monogram.lrplugin/info.lua" may be displayed during installs and updates. This can be safely ignored.
- The error message "Error during installation process: Failed to delete [...]/Monogram.lrplugin/info.lua" may be displayed during updates and uninstalls. This can be safely ignored.
- A fix is in development as of Creator 4.0.025
- Creator Alpha versions 4.0.014 and earlier may not detect available updates
- Workaround:
- Quit Monogram Creator
- Delete the "Monogram Creator Internal" folder found inside /Applications/ (macOS) or %ProgramFiles(X86)% (Windows)
- Download the latest Creator Alpha installer from this link
- Automatic updates will work again following a successful install of Creator Alpha 4.0.019 or later.
- Workaround:
- macOS Menu Bar behavior:
- When Preferences > Close to Menu Bar is enabled and a Creator icon is pinned to the macOS dock, Creator's menu bar may not respond after selecting the dock icon.
- Workarounds:
- Switch back and forth from another window quickly, this will make the Creator menu accessible immediately.
- Open Creator from the menu bar icon (upper right) rather than from the dock icon.
- Text spacing in Creator on macOS 11.0 Big Sur:
- Creator may show missing spaces and/or punctuation in certain dialogues, including module settings help text and installer/updater text
- Creator support for Big Sur is actively being tested and improved
- Please report any bugs to support@monogramcc.com
