Mac and Windows Modes refer to OS-level controls of volume, monitor brightness, media playback, and mouse actions.
These controls can be assigned to buttons, dials, and sliders inside any profile type. To assign these functions, click on a module, then select Mac Mode or Windows Mode from the left-side menu.
All modules can increase or decrease system volume. Buttons and dials can also mute the volume with a button or dial press.
Playback functions can be assigned to buttons and dials. Buttons can play/pause or stop currently playing media. If there is a playlist, buttons can go to the next or previous media while dials can scroll through the playlist when turned with playback.
All modules can increase or decrease system brightness.
Due to technical limitations, monitor brightness may not be accessible on all systems. For example: on Windows, adjusting brightness is only available when an external, integrated monitor is connected to your system.
NOTE: Changing the brightness with Palette will only affect one integrated monitor.
Mouse actions can be assigned to buttons and dials. Buttons can simulate a single-click or double-click of either the left or right mouse button. Dials can simulate a vertical or horizontal scroll, and have adjustable sensitivity.
