Why are we on pre-order?

We believe honesty is the best policy and so we’d like to shed some light on the journey we’ve been on to bring Monogram Creative Console to your creative workspace.

Since 2019, we have encountered unforeseen challenges that have impacted our production and delivery timelines. Largely due to COVID19, those unexpected setbacks affected the supply chain of key materials needed to produce our consoles, with the main setback being various semiconductors (microchips) that are used to control information and power transfers between modules. We could have decided to pursue other options but we did not want to compromise the quality our customers expect from us.

Several of these semiconductors (microchips) also require us to order parts up to 54 weeks in advance and, as our Monogram family is growing faster than we expect, we have been working to keep up with the demand. With each batch we produce, up to 50% can be immediately shipped out for pre-orders, leaving us with less stock than anticipated when we ordered parts over 1 year ago.

We are aware that we have long delivery timelines but this allows us to ensure that we don’t keep you waiting beyond what’s promised and that we deliver in a timely manner. This also allows us to carefully manage and allocate our limited stock across predetermined batch numbers, ensuring fairness and transparency in our distribution process.

Along with the material shortages comes logistical complexities. We understand the frustration and apologize for the inconvenience. Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to overcome these obstacles to fulfill orders as quickly as possible and put a Monogram Creative Console on the desk of every creator.
